Yes they do
Drove 2 hours to see Gloucester, decided to try the food here, its ok but not enough flavor on onion rings and scallops. Server was ok too can you always tell when a server thinks you won’t tip properly, maybe cause of are skin color, but I tipped 20% anyways cause myself I work at a restaurant, this place is over rated I’d recommend somewhere else if you want flavor food and also 28$ for 12 scallops isn’t worth it with no side either. Thank you anyways it is a nice spot to relax.
Excellent seafood with beautiful view of Gloucester Harbor. Was first real restaurant we visited as a family during Stage II of the reopening plan. Had a very enjoyable late lunch. Staff was friendly and accommodating despite all the S-D protocols.Definitely make reservations if you plan on dining here as life returns to the "New Normal"
Great place! The sunroom patio was awesome. The lobster bisque was really tasty, the wedge salad was delicious, and the fish and chips were really good! Service was also wonderful!
Love this place..right on the harbor in Gloucester. Love the rum buckets!
My daughter and I ate here after she went to the beach. We had the clambake, which was steamers, a lobster and corn. We ate on the back deck due to the pandemic. Our order was taken before we sat down. There was a sign on the table that you flipped up to get the attention of the server. The steamers were delicious, hot, sweet and sandless. The lobster was smaller than I expected. It had cooled off as we ate our steamers but was also cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. The price was $39/ per person. We were happy but had room for ice cream on the way home.
First lobster anything was 47 years into life and occured at Captain Carlo's. I have no lobster to compare it to, but I'm sure it's better than. Anything I'll ever get in Indiana. Wifey had the beef tips and the report on them was excellent.Service was excellent and place has a great spot on the water.Lobster roll, fries, an ocean breeze, cold beer and a signer made for a nice late lunch.
Unfortunately the featured dish, the fish was over cooked however the restaurant manager was amazing and brought us a completely new dish and did not charge us. My dish was amazing!
We split a Chowder, Mussels, Baked Scallop Pate, The Captains Coffee and a Warm Brownie Sundae...Every bite was to die for! They definitely had a great system put in place due to Covid. You place your order prior to being seated..so make sure you know what you want to drink and eat before you go!!
The Staff was Concerned more about the deck drinkers then the inside diners. Took 45 mins to get order in after we got our appetizers. Wife ordered the Lobster club said it was underwhelming and lobster was cold, not expected. My meal was terrible lobster was stuffed with what tasted like oiled Ritz crackers. Way to heavy on bland oil soaked cracker, nothing at all like a seafood stuffing, I wouldn't touch it again if it was offered free. A grease feast that did all it could to remove the flavor of the lobster. We highly regretted having one of our four meals while in town here. Other seafood chains are far better, and that's sad when you're on the coast in the heart of seafood country.
I constantly arrive getting some food in this spot. I enjoyed the fast customer service and well prepared dishes. Never disappointing.
Service wasn't all that great. Food was good but not great for the price. My opinion.
Large portions of great food! Great, new standard coronavirus standards and procedures in place! Food and drinks come out very quick. Beautiful views of harbor. Chowder is on point!
This has been one of our favorite places for ever. Beatiful Gloucester views , Best fresh seafood french onion soup lol must say OMG YUM friendly staff amazing owners who always keep a warm friendly vibe fisherman platter lobster casadeeya prime rib french onion soup lol. Just a few MUST HAVES 😊
So this is more like a 3.5 star review. Their COVID -19 precautions were appreciated. You order before you are seated to minimize the contract between you and the waiter. We were able to sit partially outside near their windows. I liked these seats more than the patio seating as the tables were farther apart. Apps came out quick. Fried pickles and the tuna were tasty..hard to mess up. Entree's were lobster pie...great flavor and lots of lobster. Kids burger and fries were approved by my 8 yr old. The last 3 entree's (scallop Alfredo, fried calamari plate and shrimp scampi) all looked amazing but tasted like nothing. I'm unsure how it's possible to make food with this little flavor. Once we requested some salt, pepper the 2 pasta dishes were ok. There was no rescuing the fried calamari...my son just dealt with it. All and all it was decent. Views were great.
